Two Parts, One Component
Ducati builds the right-hand controls into the throttle assembly, so a single worn contact takes the complete unit. This replaces both from one block of Ergal 7075.
The Most Usable Panigale
Ducati redrew the 959 with V4 styling, a wider seat and a reshaped tank. It is the superbike in the range that a competent rider can actually use most of, and it was the last Panigale twin.
A Hundred and Fifty-Five Horsepower
From the 955 cc Superquadro, with a single-sided swingarm the 959 never had. Ducati spent the money on what the rider sees and feels rather than on chasing more power.
Sealed Contacts
Enclosed inside the machined body rather than behind a clipped cover. Track use means hot washing after every session and a wet paddock overnight.
A Machined Throttle Bore
Cut rather than formed, so the tube stays concentric and the position sensor keeps reading honestly. On a superbike, the first fifteen degrees are where the work happens.
Black Anodised
Converted into the aluminium. On a motorcycle whose fairing is already doing everything visually, a restrained cockpit component is the right answer.
Ergal 7075
An aerospace grade at roughly twice the yield strength of ordinary machined alloy. On a clamped bar component that is a structural difference rather than a claim.
Cornering Everything
Lean-sensitive ABS, traction, wheelie control and engine braking from a Bosch platform. The V2 carries the same electronics as the V4 and asks considerably less of its rider.
Ducati's Own Plug
Pre-wired to the original connector so nothing is spliced. The exchange is mechanical, reversible and leaves nothing in the diagnostics.
