The Most Successful Rider in Grand Prix History
Giacomo Agostini took 122 Grand Prix wins and fifteen world titles, thirteen of them for MV Agusta. No other partnership between a rider and a manufacturer has produced anything comparable, and the company has traded on it for fifty years.
What the Edition Consists Of
Specific paint referencing the 1970s racing machines, a numbered plaque, Agostini's signature and a higher specification than the standard F3 800. It is a limited run and it sold to people who knew exactly what they were buying.
Machined Lettering on a Numbered Bike
Whether a second manufacturer's logo belongs on a commemorative motorcycle is a fair question, and JetPrime's answer is to offer both versions. This is the marked one, cut into the aluminium rather than applied to it.
These Get Ridden
An Ago that never leaves a garage is unusual. The people who buy MV's limited editions are generally motorcyclists rather than investors, and the standard throttle travel becomes an irritation quickly on a bike used properly.
Nothing Left Behind
The conversion is mechanical, uses the original cables and reverses completely. On a numbered edition that is not a convenience but the condition under which any modification is considered at all.
Cut From Billet
Ergal 7075 machined from solid rather than cast. The bore in which the throttle tube runs is cut, and that precision is what the wrist reads at the small openings that matter most.
A Numbered Plaque
Every Ago edition carries a plate identifying its place in the run along with Agostini's signature. That is the context in which any cockpit modification is assessed, and it is why reversibility matters more here than performance.
