Cut for This Handlebar
The H profile follows the Hypermotard's wide, high bar rather than a general Ducati fit. It is the version that keeps the cables clean when the bars are turned fully.
A Hundred and Fourteen Horsepower
The 937 cc Testastretta in a supermoto chassis with long travel and a flat seat. Ducati has been building this motorcycle since 2007 and nobody has properly copied it.
Four Kilograms Lighter
The 950 came in below the 939 it replaced through a new trellis and a redesigned subframe. On a supermoto that is worth considerably more than another five horsepower would be.
Throttle Assembly Only
The switch block stays in place. This covers the housing by itself, which is what an owner needs when the electrics are healthy and the plastic is not.
Where the Tube Runs
A machined bore keeps the rotation smooth and concentric. On a bike ridden with constant throttle movement, the difference is noticed every single ride.
Black Anodising
Converted into the surface rather than laid over it. The Hypermotard's bar is completely exposed and a coating simply does not survive it.
Cut From Solid
Ergal 7075 at roughly twice the yield strength of ordinary machined aluminium. On a supermoto that will meet tarmac at some point, that is the practical consideration.
Adjustable Wheelie Control
Ducati fitted a system with levels rather than one that simply prevents them. On this motorcycle that distinction is the difference between a rider aid and an insult.
A Seat to Move On
The saddle is long and flat because the rider is expected to shift constantly rather than sit still. It is the clearest sign that Ducati built an actual supermoto.
