DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Tiger Sport 800 fills the gap between Triumph's 660 and 900 adventure bikes. The JP PD TR001 replaces its right-hand switch with a body machined from Ergal 7075.
Key Features
- Triumph Tiger Sport 800 (2025–2026)
- Universal hole pattern for either master cylinder
- Full street control set
- Black anodised
- CNC-milled Ergal 7075
- Plug-and-play on the original connector
A New Triple
Triumph introduced a 798 cc three-cylinder engine for 2025 rather than stretching either of the units it already had. It makes 115 hp and sits precisely where the company needed something: more than the 660 offers, less weight and cost than the Tiger 900 carries.
Sport Rather Than Adventure
Cast wheels, road tyres, a fairing and an adjustable screen. Like the 660 before it, the Tiger Sport 800 is a road motorcycle with adventure proportions, and the specification is honest about that. Nothing on it suggests it expects to leave tarmac.
A Cockpit With a Lot In It
Riding modes, traction control, cruise control and a colour display, most of which is reached from the handlebar. Triumph did not simplify the electronics for a mid-price machine, so the button count matches motorcycles costing considerably more.
Universal Clamp Pattern
Both aligned and offset master cylinder geometries are accepted. On a new model whose aftermarket is only beginning to develop, keeping options open costs nothing and closes off one future incompatibility.
Sealed and Milled
One block of Ergal 7075 with sealed switch elements inside. On a machine bought to be ridden in whatever weather arrives, the absence of a moulded seam is what keeps the controls accurate over years rather than seasons.
Very New
The bike reached dealers in 2025. Anyone fitting this part is specifying the cockpit deliberately rather than replacing something worn, since nothing on a motorcycle this age has had time to deteriorate.
