A KTM Engine in a Calmer Motorcycle
The Norden uses the 889 cc LC8c twin from the KTM 890 Adventure, with the same 105 hp and the same broad, useful spread of torque. What Husqvarna changed was everything around it: the ergonomics are more relaxed, the styling is deliberately quiet, and the result appeals to riders who wanted the KTM's capability without its personality.
Aligned Clamp Geometry
This version is drilled for master cylinders whose clamp bolts sit on a line square to the handlebar. The offset arrangement needs the other part number. Checking which is fitted takes a glance at the bike and is the single most common reason one of these switches goes back.
Controls Used All Day
An adventure tourer's right-hand cluster is worked continuously: mode selection on changing surfaces, cruise control on transits, the display menu. Over a long trip that accumulates into thousands of operations, and the standard moulded buttons soften gradually enough that the rider adapts without noticing.
Sealed Against the Weather It Will Meet
The Norden is bought to be ridden in conditions other motorcycles avoid. The switch elements are sealed units inside a housing milled from a single piece, so there is no moulded joint for water to find during a wet week on a mountain road.
Two Model Years
The fitment covers 2022 and 2023. Husqvarna revised the Norden afterwards, and the later bike is listed separately. On a model with this short a history the year is easy to establish and worth confirming.
