DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Scrambler 800 with an aligned-pattern right-hand switch block, cut from a single billet of Ergal.
Key Features
- Ducati Scrambler 800 (2019–2026)
- Aligned hole pattern
- Complete street control set
- Black anodised Ergal 7075
- CNC-machined from solid
- Sealed switch elements
- Plug-and-play on the original connector
Shaped for the Handlebar
The Scrambler's bar is flat, wide and set high, with a cable exit angle unlike anything else Ducati builds. A dedicated body follows it rather than tolerating it.
The Aligned Clamp
Two mounting patterns exist and this matches the first. Which a bike needs depends on the master cylinder rather than on anything in the registration document.
An Even Clamp
Machined to the tube's diameter rather than close to it. On a motorcycle where the handlebar itself is part of the styling, an evenly gripping block avoids marking it.
Fasteners That Last
Threads cut into aluminium take a proper torque figure and take it repeatedly. Scramblers are personalised more than most Ducatis and things come on and off constantly.
Parked Outdoors
An 800 rarely lives in a heated garage. Water collecting in a moulded joint while the bike stands does more damage than any amount of riding in the wet.
Elements Enclosed
Sealed inside the machined body. With no bodywork and no shelter, the housing is the entire defence the electrics have against the weather.
Eight Hundred and Three Cubic Centimetres
The air-cooled Desmodue making 73 horsepower in a steel trellis. It is the simplest motorcycle Ducati sells and that is entirely deliberate.
A Sub-Brand of Its Own
Ducati gave the Scrambler separate showrooms, a clothing line and its own logo. It brought in buyers who had never considered the marque and it worked commercially.
Icon, Nightshift, Desert Sled
The same platform in several distinct characters with different wheels, suspension and colours. Personalisation is the model's commercial idea rather than an afterthought.
