Forty-Four Machines
One for each of Lewis Hamilton's racing number, in matte black with gold detail, forged wheels and a titanium exhaust. Fitting a race cluster to one is a decision that will be weighed against what it does to the motorcycle's standing.
Which Is Why It Bolts On
The unit uses MV's own connector and the standard assembly refits without trace. Nothing is drilled, nothing is spliced and the motorcycle can be returned to exactly the condition it left the factory in.
The Ones That Are Ridden
A proportion of LH44s see circuits rather than storage, which is presumably what their owners intended when they bought a machine with this specification. Those bikes get their cockpits prepared like any other track motorcycle.
What the Reduced Set Does
Removes the indicator and horn positions and spaces the remaining controls further apart. On a housing this small, freeing two positions makes a measurable difference to how reliably a gloved thumb finds the right button.
Factory Electronics Retained
No racing harness and no external dashboard. MV's connector and ECU are used, so the traction control and maps continue to function exactly as calibrated.
Sealed Construction
Sealed elements inside a one-piece milled body. Even a lightly used motorcycle meets washing, and a moulded joint is where that water reaches contacts which on this bike would be tedious to source.
Black Anodised
One finish, converted into the surface. Against matte black bodywork with sparing gold it disappears entirely, which on a motorcycle composed this carefully is the correct outcome.
