DescriptionThe whole story▼
The JP ES 006 replaces the RSV4 Factory's headlight in the circuit so the panel reports nothing with race bodywork fitted.
Key Features
- Aprilia RSV4 Factory (2021–2026)
- Replaces the headlight in the circuit
- No lamp failure warning on the panel
- Plugs into Aprilia's own connector
- Needed once a race fairing goes on
- Standard light refits at any time
Already Prepared
Semi-active suspension, forged wheels and a chassis that adjusts everywhere. Turning a Factory into a track bike is mostly a matter of removing things.
The Headlight Is One of Them
Race bodywork has no aperture for it and the assembly is heavy. It comes off with the standard nose and never goes back until the bike is sold.
The Circuit Objects
Current through the lighting loop is monitored. An absent lamp produces a warning that persists on the panel.
Supplying the Load
The eliminator answers the circuit properly, so nothing appears and nothing is stored for a scrutineer or a dealer to find.
Winglets
Integrated into the fairing rather than bolted on, developed alongside the MotoGP programme. Race bodywork for this bike has to account for them.
Cornering ABS and APRC
All of it stays working. The lighting circuit is independent of the rider aids and satisfying it changes nothing else.
Minutes
Aprilia's own connector with no adapters, fitted while the nose is already apart.
Nothing Spliced
The loom is untouched, which protects the value of an expensive motorcycle.
Reversible
The headlight refits with the road fairing whenever it needs to.
Competition Only
Removing the headlight ends road legality across Europe.
Two Hundred and Seventeen Horsepower
From 1099 cc in current form, found through intake, camshaft and electronics work rather than by enlarging the engine again. Aprilia has been refining the same V4 architecture for well over a decade and it still sits at the front of the class.
Forged Wheels
The Factory carries forged rims rather than cast ones, which removes rotating mass at the largest possible radius. It is the most effective weight saving available on any motorcycle and it is felt every time the bike changes direction.
