DescriptionThe whole story▼
The JP ACCGP MV002 fits the MV Agusta Brutale 675 (2012–2017) with a short-stroke ride-by-wire grip, its preload adjustable from outside in three stages, so the compact naked triple keeps the cable-throttle feel riders associate with its size while losing none of the standard electronics underneath.
Key Features
- MV Agusta Brutale 675 (2012–2017)
- GP Series ride-by-wire quick throttle with a sixty degree rotation angle
- Progressive return spring, preload adjustable externally in three positions
- CNC-machined from solid Ergal 7075
- Plug-and-play on the motorcycle's own connector
- Standard throttle assembly refits at any time
A Compact Triple Built for Quick Hands
The Brutale 675 is one of the smaller naked bikes MV Agusta has built around a triple engine, light enough that riders tend to flick it through direction changes rather than lean on momentum. A shorter throttle rotation suits that kind of riding, where small, quick corrections matter more than one long sweeping input.
Three Stages, Set From Outside
The return spring's preload is adjustable in three stages without opening the housing, which means the resistance at the grip can be matched to a rider's hand strength or preference for how sharply the throttle snaps back to idle once the hand relaxes.
The Feel of a Cable Throttle
Because the housing and spring are designed to mimic a cable-operated grip's resistance, the ride-by-wire system underneath stays exactly as MV Agusta programmed it while the hand gets a more familiar sense of where the throttle actually is at any given moment.
Why Owners Swap on Narrow Roads
A compact naked like the 675 spends a lot of its life on tight, twisting roads where the throttle opens and closes constantly rather than staying pinned, and a shorter rotation reduces how much wrist movement each of those small adjustments costs over a long ride.
Machined From Solid Ergal
The housing is milled from a block of 7075 Ergal rather than cast, which keeps the lever action consistent through the thousands of small throttle movements a bike this size tends to see over a typical season of riding on narrow mountain roads.
Returning to Stock
Refitting the original MV Agusta throttle is possible at any point, which means trying the shorter rotation on the 675 does not close the door on going back if the feel does not suit a particular rider after a few weeks on the road.
