DescriptionThe whole story▼
The JP ACCGP DU020 is JetPrime's GP Series short-stroke throttle grip for the Ducati Hypermotard V2 890 (2026). Beyond the 60-degree ride-by-wire rotation and solid Ergal body, it adds a progressive spring with external preload adjustment across three positions, letting riders fine-tune throttle return without opening the unit.
Key Features
- Ducati Hypermotard V2 890 (2026)
- Ride-by-wire quick throttle with 60-degree rotation
- Solid-machined Ergal housing
- New progressive spring for more precise throttle response control
- Externally adjustable preload across three distinct positions
- Plug-and-play fitment specific to this Hypermotard model
A Progressive Spring for Finer Control
The GP Series adds a progressive spring behind the throttle mechanism, shaping how the return action builds through the stroke rather than snapping back at a single rate. That progression gives the rider more precise control over how the throttle responds as it opens and closes.
Preload You Can Adjust from Outside
Spring preload is set externally, with three distinct positions to choose from. Riders can change how firm the return feels without removing the grip from the handlebar, matching the throttle to personal preference or to a specific track or riding style.
Still the 60-Degree, Solid-Ergal Base
Underneath the GP-specific spring, this grip carries over the same short-stroke foundation as the standard version: a 60-degree ride-by-wire rotation machined from one block of solid Ergal, built for quicker transitions between closed and open throttle.
A GP-Level Option for the Hypermotard
On the Hypermotard V2 890, the added preload adjustment gives riders who already favour the bike's flickable, standing-friendly riding style a further way to tailor throttle feel to how hard they are pushing, corner to corner or session to session.
Built and Fitted for This Model
Like the standard grip, the GP Series version is engineered specifically for the Ducati Hypermotard V2 890 (2026), matching its electronics and connectors so the upgrade installs as a direct, plug-and-play replacement for the factory throttle grip.
