DescriptionThe whole story▼
The JP ACCGP AP009 fits the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory (2019-2026), shortening throttle rotation to sixty degrees so the race-derived electronics package behind this flagship naked bike's semi-active suspension meets a grip that asks for full throttle over a correspondingly shorter, sharper arc.
Key Features
- Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory (2019–2026)
- GP Series ride-by-wire quick throttle with a sixty degree rotation angle
- Progressive return spring, preload adjustable externally in three positions
- CNC-machined from solid Ergal 7075
- Plug-and-play on the motorcycle's own connector
- Standard throttle assembly refits at any time
A Sensor Built to Match the Rest of the Electronics
The Factory's suite of rider aids relies on accurate, fast throttle position data, and the sensor behind this shorter-throw body reports that position across the same reduced rotation, giving the electronics a crisper signal to work with every time the wrist moves.
On a Track Where Every Degree Counts
A circuit built around short straights and tight corners leaves little time for a wrist to travel the stock throttle's full distance. Cutting that rotation down means full throttle arrives sooner on the way out of a corner, which is the entire argument for fitting one of these to a bike this track-capable.
Preload for Whichever Day It Is
Three external preload settings let the spring behind the shorter rotation be firmed up for a trackday or eased off for a road ride home, changed in moments at the bar without removing the housing or touching anything electronic underneath.
A Housing Built Like the Rest of the Bike
Machined from solid 7075 Ergal aluminium rather than cast, the throttle body housing holds tight tolerances the way the Factory's forged wheels and milled yokes do elsewhere on the motorcycle, a detail that matters more on a bike built to this level of specification.
Compatible with the Switchgear Already There
The unit is designed to sit behind the Tuono V4 1100 Factory's existing handlebar switches and cabling without requiring a different clamp or connector, so the swap does not disturb anything else mounted at the bar.
A Reset, Not a Rebuild
After the housing is bolted down, the only remaining step is the standard diagnostic throttle relearn, run through the bike's own diagnostic process, after which the Factory's traction control and wheelie control systems see the new throttle position range correctly.
