The unit mounts using the same points and connector as the factory throttle body on this generation of Tuareg 660, so the stock handlebar switches, cables and clamps all remain exactly where they were before the swap began.
A Routine Reset After Fitting
Installation finishes with the same diagnostic relearn procedure used on any throttle body replacement, giving the ECU the new closed-to-open position range before the bike goes back out, a step that takes minutes with the right diagnostic tool.
