DescriptionThe whole story▼
The JP ES 063 canister eliminator is built for the Ducati Monster V2, enabling complete removal of the EVAP system without triggering fault codes from the ECU. The kit bundles an electronic purge valve eliminator with every bracket, plug and hose fitting needed to strip the canister filter and its plumbing for track preparation.
Key Features
- Ducati Monster V2 (2026)
- Removes the EVAP canister system entirely, including filter, valve and hoses
- Electronic purge valve eliminator stops ECU fault codes after removal
- Fitment specific to the Ducati Monster V2
- Supplied as a complete kit with no extra sourcing needed
- Aimed at competition and track preparation, not road-legal use
Why the canister system gets removed
Street-legal Ducatis carry an EVAP canister to capture fuel vapour, along with its filter, purge valve and a web of hoses. On a track-prepared Monster V2 this hardware adds weight and clutter for no performance benefit, so teams strip it out once the bike no longer needs to meet road emissions rules.
What is inside the kit
The JP ES 063 kit supplies an electronic purge valve eliminator alongside the brackets, blanking plugs and fittings needed to take out the canister filter, the purge valve and their connecting hoses. Nothing from the original EVAP assembly is reused, so the bay around the airbox is left clean and uncluttered.
Fitting the Monster V2 airbox
Mounting points and hose routing on this eliminator are matched to the Monster V2, so the electronic purge valve eliminator sits where the original valve was wired and the blanking fittings close off the vacated ports without reshaping any bodywork or cutting factory hoses.
ECU behaviour after the swap
Because the eliminator replicates the signal the ECU expects from the purge valve, the Monster V2 electronics continue to run without logging a fault or lighting a warning once the canister system is gone, so the bike starts and idles exactly as it did before the conversion.
Intended use
This eliminator is built for track preparation and closed-course riding rather than everyday road use, since removing the EVAP system takes the motorcycle outside its original emissions configuration. Riders fitting it should treat the Monster V2 as a dedicated track bike from that point on.
