What Semi-Active Actually Changes
The WP APEX units read the inertial platform and adjust compression and rebound continuously. On a road it smooths a bad surface; on a circuit it manages the load transfer between hard braking and full drive, which is a considerably harder problem.
An EVO Prepared Properly
Owners who take an EVO to circuits are usually working with a chassis that needs very little attention, which frees the budget for the cockpit, the exhaust and the tyres. The throttle and the switchgear tend to be done together.
Road Controls Already Gone
This unit arrives without the indicator and horn positions, so there is nothing on it that a closed course does not need. That is the difference between it and the standard additional switch, and it is why the two are listed separately.
The Suspension Controls Stay Put
The EVO's damping modes are selected from the left cluster and are entirely unaffected. Only the throttle-side controls move, and the electronics see no change of any kind after the conversion.
Independent of the Throttle Tube
The unit clamps to the handlebar, so a different quick throttle can be fitted later as the setup develops without disturbing anything electrical. Over a season of testing that saves work more than once.
Sealed Contacts
Military-specification elements in a body milled from one block. A jet washer used on a warm engine finds every moulded joint there is, and this housing does not have one.
Titanium
One finish, converted into the surface rather than applied over it. Against orange frame tubes and dark bodywork it identifies the component without adding a colour.
