Two Modifications, One Part
A quick-action throttle displaces the standard switch block, and a track build removes the indicator controls. JetPrime combines both into a single unit rather than asking the owner to fit a road cluster and then live with buttons that do nothing.
Where This Sits in a Build
Rearsets, race bodywork, an exhaust, a quick throttle and then this. It is not the headline component of a Super Duke track conversion and it is the one that decides whether the motorcycle starts at the end of the process.
The Frame Carries the Engine
KTM's 2020 redesign made the LC8 a stressed member of a lighter tubular frame, which took weight out and sharpened the steering considerably. It is the change that turned the Super Duke from a very fast naked bike into a genuinely credible circuit machine.
Scrutineering
Every machine entering a circuit has its engine stop switch checked before it is allowed out. On a cockpit rebuilt around a quick throttle that control has to be present, reachable and unambiguous, which is precisely what an improvised bracket is not.
Nothing Reaches the Harness
Pre-wired for KTM's connector. The traction control, anti-wheelie and riding modes continue to work as calibrated, and no racing loom is needed at any point in the conversion.
Sealed Above Automotive Grade
Military-specification contacts inside a machined block. Track bikes are washed hot after every session and stored damp between meetings, and ingress rather than button wear is what ends switchgear in a paddock.
Titanium
A single anodised finish. On a cockpit rebuilt entirely around track use, one restrained tone keeps the assembly from looking put together out of whatever was available at the time.
