A Naked Bike, Ridden Like a Race Bike
The current Streetfighter V4 is built for naked-bike aggression, and riders who add a quick-action throttle usually want the whole right-hand setup to match that intent rather than keep road-only functions they will not use on a circuit. That intent carries through from the throttle itself to every switch fitted alongside it.
A Reduced Layout, Not a Smaller Version of the Standard Block
This switch leaves out heated grips and similar conveniences entirely rather than hiding them behind extra menu steps, keeping the control set to what a track day calls for and nothing more. A menu-based toggle still takes a moment to find under pressure; leaving the function out removes that moment entirely.
Where the Standard Controls Used to Sit
A shortened throttle travel frees room under the grip but takes the original right-hand functions with it. This block occupies that same space on the Streetfighter V4's bar, built specifically for the current generation. The fit is specific to the current generation's bar, which differs from the model it replaced.
Bronze, Durable Under a Race Glove
The anodising sits inside the Ergal's surface rather than on top, so the colour holds up to the tighter, more frequent grip a track session puts on the switch compared with road use. A road-spec finish would show the same wear eventually, just over a longer period of lighter use.
Sealed for the Paddock, Not Just the Circuit
Military-specification elements inside the switch handle the heat and moisture of a pressure wash after a session as well as the vibration of the ride itself, and the block only fits alongside a fitted quick-action throttle. A bike ridden exclusively on the road rarely needs that margin, but a bike doing both road and track benefits from it either way.
