DescriptionThe whole story▼
This new-generation Monster 937 (2021–2025) replaced the trellis frame with an aluminium one from the Supersport, and fitting a JetPrime quick-action throttle removes its factory switch housing accordingly. The JP PDRQ DU006 E bronze switch block, CNC-machined from Ergal, restores horn and indicator function on the new assembly.

A different platform under familiar styling
This Monster, built from 2021, moved to an aluminium monocoque frame borrowed from the Supersport, a structural change behind styling that still reads as Monster. The throttle body and switch housing changed along with it. That structural change is exactly where the switch housing question starts to differ.
The switch the conversion removes on this generation
Fitting the quick-action throttle to the Monster 937 removes the factory switch housing together with the stock throttle body, just as on the older Monster, though the housing design itself differs between generations. That difference matters most when ordering the correct part number.
Only useful alongside the throttle kit
This switch has no handlebar clamp of its own and mounts on the quick-action throttle body alone. A Monster 937 still running its stock throttle has nothing for it to attach to. An essential-functions Racing version of this switch suits owners pushing the new chassis harder than the styling alone suggests.
Ergal machined for a lighter, stiffer chassis
The new aluminium frame shed weight compared with the old trellis design, and CNC-milling the switch housing from solid Ergal 7075 keeps it stiff enough to match that lighter, more direct-feeling chassis rather than flexing under use. That stiffness matters on a chassis already built to feel sharper than its predecessor.
Wired for the current Monster's connector
The loom plugs into the connector fitted to this Monster generation, which differs from the one used on the older 1200 and 821, so no cutting is needed to install it correctly. That stiffness matters on a frame already engineered to feel more direct than the old trellis design.
