DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Ducati Hypermotard 950 (2019–2025) pairs supermoto styling with a 937 cc L-twin, and fitting a JetPrime quick-action throttle removes the factory switch housing. The JP PDRQ DU006 E bronze switch block, CNC-machined from Ergal, restores horn and indicator function on the new throttle assembly, wired for the stock connector.
Key Features
- Ducati Hypermotard 950 (2019–2025)
- Fits Ducati Hypermotard 950 (2019–2025)
- Companion part for an already-fitted quick-action throttle
- Bronze anodised, CNC-milled Ergal
- Plug-and-play into the stock Hypermotard connector
- Not usable with the original throttle body still fitted
A supermoto stance built for standing up as much as sitting
The Hypermotard's tall bars and upright position put the rider's hands in a different relationship to the switches than a sportbike does, closer to a dirt bike's cockpit than a naked's. A quick-action throttle fitted here still needs a switch block that mounts cleanly in that layout.
The switch the conversion displaces
Installing the quick-action throttle removes the factory right-hand switch housing along with the stock throttle body. On a bike often ridden standing on rough surfaces, losing indicator or horn function is not something an owner accepts, which this block prevents.
A part that only works with the throttle kit fitted
This switch has no handlebar clamp of its own and mounts on the quick-action throttle assembly alone. A Hypermotard 950 still running its original throttle body has nothing for it to attach to. A Racing version of this switch also exists, cut back to essential functions for owners who take the Hypermotard off-road more seriously than onto the showroom floor.
Ergal machined for a bike built to take hits
The Hypermotard is designed around rougher riding than most road bikes see, and CNC-milling the switch housing from solid Ergal 7075 gives it the same resilience as the rest of the bike's hardware, rather than a part that only suits smooth tarmac.
Wired for the Hypermotard's own loom
The connector matches what Ducati built into the Hypermotard 950 from the factory, so the switch installs without cutting any wires. That keeps the quick-action conversion reversible if the setup changes later. Buyers who ride the Hypermotard off-road regularly tend to notice that durability first.
