Wide Bars Change the Wrist Angle
An upright riding position with the hands set far apart gives the wrist less natural rotation to work with than a clip-on setup does, which makes the travel of a standard throttle more noticeable on the Rivale than on a sportier triple.
A Separate Mount for the Controls
Once the quick-action throttle fills the space the original grip used, the horn, indicator and light switches move to this bronze-anodised housing, clipped onto the throttle rather than squeezed back onto the wide bar. It is the kind of thing that only matters once Controls is actually fitted.
Distinct From the Brutale, Same Platform
The Rivale uses the same triple engine family as the Brutale but sets it in a different chassis and riding position, aimed at a style of naked riding distinct from the more aggressive sibling model. Few riders think about Platform until the switch is already on the bench.
