DescriptionThe whole story▼
The same bronze JP PDQ KT016 E fits the Super Duke R EVO, carrying the displaced right-hand switchgear on the quick throttle body for the semi-active-suspension version of KTM's naked flagship. Both the colour and the model fitment are worth double-checking before this goes in a cart.
Key Features
- KTM 1290 Superduke R EVO (2020–2023)
- Fits the KTM 1290 Super Duke R EVO (2020–2023)
- CNC-machined from solid Ergal, bronze anodised
- Mounts onto the JetPrime quick throttle body
- Plug and play on the factory connector
- Requires a JetPrime quick throttle to be fitted
Semi-Active Suspension Added
The EVO replaces the standard Super Duke R's manually adjustable suspension with WP's semi-active units, continuously adjusted electronically rather than set once at a roadside, while the rest of the chassis stays the same. That detail around Added is easy to overlook until the part is in hand.
The Throttle Hardware Sits Apart From That System
Fitting a quick-action throttle and this switch has no bearing on how the EVO's electronic suspension reads the road, since the two systems operate independently of each other on this bike entirely and always will. It is the kind of thing that only matters once System is actually fitted.
Where the Relocated Switches Go
The horn, indicator and light controls move off the grip and onto this bronze-anodised Ergal 7075 housing, clipped to the throttle body in the same way as on every other model in this JetPrime range. Few riders think about Switches until the switch is already on the bench.
Electronics Layered Onto a Familiar Chassis
Beyond the suspension units, the EVO's frame and V-twin engine match the standard Super Duke R closely, which is also why the switch connector here matches that of the base R trim precisely and without exception. That single fact about Chassis is worth checking before placing an order.
Bronze for an Electronically Enhanced Naked
The CNC-milled bronze finish gives the EVO's cockpit a detail distinct from its titanium counterpart, a choice some owners make to visually set this suspension-upgraded version apart from the standard R trim on the showroom floor. It is a small point about Naked, but a real one in the workshop.
