DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Streetfighter V4S (2020–2024) adds Öhlins and forged wheels over the base V4, and a JetPrime quick-action throttle fitted to it still removes the same factory switch housing. The JP PDQ DU020 E bronze switch block, CNC-machined from Ergal, replaces it on the new throttle body with the stock connector.

A V4S owner's budget usually runs out before the cockpit
Semi-active Öhlins and forged wheels take most of the attention and the spend on a V4S build, which leaves the switchgear as an afterthought for a lot of owners right up until the quick-action throttle goes in and the horn button disappears with the old assembly.
The same displacement problem as the standard bike
Because the V4S shares its throttle body and switch housing design with the base Streetfighter V4, fitting a quick-action throttle removes the factory switch the same way on both. This block solves it identically, regardless of which specification the bike carries.
Only relevant once the throttle is fitted
This switch has no handlebar mount of its own. On a V4S still running its stock throttle body, there is nothing for it to attach to, which is why it is sold exclusively alongside the quick-action conversion. It is never marketed to an owner who has not already made that conversion.
A machined housing to match the rest of the spec
CNC-milling from solid Ergal 7075 gives this switch a construction standard that suits a bike already built with forged wheels and semi-active suspension. The housing is stiff enough to hold its feel under the vibration a naked V4 transmits without a fairing.
Stock Ducati connector, nothing added
Wiring plugs into the same connector fitted to every Streetfighter V4S from the factory, so no cutting is needed. That keeps the whole quick-action setup reversible, which matters on a model many owners eventually sell with its original electronics intact. Buyers who choose this specification rarely accept a cockpit detail left half finished.
