The CB500F of 2013 to 2015 is often a rider's first bigger motorcycle, used for learning, commuting and first tours. The Gilles Shiftholder for the Honda CB500F of those years supports the shift shaft and gives the gear change a firmer, clearer feel.

Small twin, frequent shifts
A 500 cc twin is shifted more often than a big engine, because it has less torque to pull through the gears. That makes the quality of the gear change more important on a smaller bike than many riders expect, and a supported shaft makes each change more precise.
Road Approval
This part needs no approval and no entry in the papers. It supports the gearbox shift shaft of the Honda CB500F and leaves the rider controls and every approved characteristic of the motorcycle unchanged, so there is nothing for a testing organisation to assess.
