The Tuono V4 1100 Factory of 2015 to 2020 is one of the fastest naked bikes on a circuit, with a strong V4 that is shifted hard coming out of every corner. The Gilles Shiftholder for the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory supports the shift shaft so that those shifts engage cleanly.

Out of the corner, up a gear
Accelerating out of a bend, the rider changes up while the engine is still pulling hard. A shift shaft that flexes can delay the selector's movement at exactly that moment. With a second support outside the engine, the gear change stays positive.
Consistency over a session
On a circuit, the rider changes gear hundreds of times in a session. If the feel of the lever varies from shift to shift, confidence suffers. With the shaft supported at its outer end, the travel and the resistance of the lever stay consistent, which makes it easier to shift by feel alone.
Road Approval
No registration is needed. The Shiftholder does not change the position of any control or any other approved characteristic of the Aprilia TUONO V4 1100 FACTORY; it only supports the shift shaft where it leaves the engine. Nothing has to be entered in the vehicle documents, and no inspection is required.
