Racing series
The R7 is used in several one-make and supersport series, where mirror and plate mounts must be covered or removed; the kit gives a neat solution.
Road Approval
According to Gilles, no approval is needed for this part on the Yamaha R7; nothing changes in the papers.
Scope of Delivery
One RCK-14-B kit with the covers for the mirror mounting points and the licence plate holder mount. The original mirrors and plate holder stay with you and go back on before riding on public roads.
Fitting
Work on a clean, stable bike and keep the instructions at hand. Mount the part on the prepared surfaces, tighten evenly and make sure nothing rubs, touches or rattles when you turn the handlebar or sit on the bike. Re-check the screws after the first ride; from then on, a glance during routine maintenance is enough.
