The first Scrambler Classic of 2015 and 2016 has spoked wheels, a brown seat and orange paint. On its air-cooled engine, a Gilles OFC-20-25-1 with a gold or silver insert adds a period-looking detail.

Type K1
This cap is listed for the K1 Classic. Later Classics of type 3K/8K take the OFC-20-25, sold separately.
Period details
Owners of the first Classic often keep the bike close to original; a cap with a silver insert is a subtle change that stays in that spirit.
Kept original
If the bike returns to standard one day, the original cap simply goes back in; the OFC leaves no trace.
Road Approval
According to Gilles, the OFC oil filler cap needs no approval on the Ducati SCRAMBLER CLASSIC; the description says plainly that no TÜV is required.

Fitting
With the engine off and cool, unscrew the original filler cap and screw the OFC in by hand. Tighten it with the supplied tool; firm is enough. Choose the insert colour you want and check the oil level as usual.
