DescriptionThe whole story▼
The first Panigale V4 put a MotoGP-style V4 with a counter-rotating crank into a road bike, and eight model years later the chassis still asks the rider to move a lot of body mass very quickly. This MUE2 rearset for the Ducati Panigale V4 of 2018 to 2024 gives that movement a firmer anchor than the factory pegs, and lets you decide where the anchor sits.
Key Features
- Every part available individually as a spare
- Peg height and reach set at a single clamping point
- Brake and shift levers on double ball bearings, free of play
- Folding footpegs, as the road approval requires
- Brake and shift pedal length adjustable to your boot
- Road legal in Germany under ABE No. KBA 91506
Quick direction changes need a stable foot
A counter-rotating crank makes the V4 flick from one side to the other with less effort than its mass suggests, which means the rider arrives at the next peg sooner. With the ball of the foot on a peg that does not flex and a lever that has no free play, the transition from left to right becomes one clean movement instead of a search for grip.
Sixteen positions from one screw
Two settings at a single clamping point combine into sixteen peg positions, from 2 mm below to 36 mm above the original height and from 9 mm ahead of it to 18 mm behind. On a Panigale that is ridden to work in the week and to a circuit on Saturday, that matters more than the figures themselves, because a changed setting takes minutes and can be reversed just as quickly.
Road Approval
On the Ducati Panigale V4 this rearset is covered by ABE No. KBA 91506, so it may be ridden on public roads without an inspection or an entry in the documents. The ABE requires the folding peg adapters and asks for the headlight aim to be checked after installation. A printed copy of the certificate travels with the bike.
Scope of Delivery
The delivery covers the complete left and right assembly, including folding pegs, the ball-bearing brake and shift levers, the shift linkage and heel guards on both sides. Fitting instructions come with it, as does the ABE document.
