DescriptionThe whole story▼
The F3 800 takes the same chassis as the 675 and adds enough midrange to change how the bike is ridden — later braking, harder, from higher speed. The brake lever does more work on this version, and it is still the one part of the front end that cannot be adjusted.
Key Features
- Folding blade that swings clear instead of snapping off
- Engineered break point inside the two-finger zone
- Phosphated pivot seat, free of play from new
- CNC-machined from solid aluminium, black anodised
- Milled Gilles face for a secure gloved grip
- Road legal in Germany under ABE No. KBA 91203
Material and Pivot
Cut from one piece of aluminium and anodised black, with the pivot bore phosphated as its own operation. A treated bearing is what keeps lever feel identical across a session instead of letting it drift as the pivot wears.
More Torque, Later Braking
The extra capacity means you arrive faster and brake later, which compresses everything into a shorter window at the lever. A blade set a few millimetres wrong is survivable on a relaxed ride and genuinely costly when the braking zone is short. The adjuster covers the range in single steps.
Reach and the Tuck
Behind an F3's screen the wrist rolls forward and the effective reach lengthens. A lever set while sitting upright in the garage will not be the lever you want at speed, which is exactly why the adjustment needs to be fine enough to be worth revisiting.
Road Approval
Carries ABE No. KBA 91203 for German public roads. No entry in the papers and no testing-organisation inspection are needed; keep the printed certificate with the vehicle documents.
Scope of Delivery
A single black brake lever for the F3 800. It bolts to the original master cylinder and the swap is fully reversible.
