DescriptionThe whole story▼
The CBR650F was the faired version of Honda's middleweight four, sold for a short window before the R restyling replaced it. Short production runs mean fewer parts on the shelf, which makes a lever that folds rather than breaks worth more than usual.
Key Features
- Bolts to the original master cylinder without adapters
- Reach adjustable through 35 positions, set by hand
- Central adjuster wheel, reachable from the riding position
- Folding blade that swings clear instead of snapping off
- Engineered break point inside the two-finger zone
- Road legal in Germany under ABE No. KBA 91203
Machined and Treated
Solid aluminium, bored and phosphated at the pivot, then anodised black. It arrives without play. On a bike whose original spares are getting harder to find, arriving tight and staying tight is the whole point.
Fairing, Upright Bars
The CBR650F is faired but not aggressive: the bars are higher than a true supersport and the lean is mild. That puts the hand in a position the standard lever only half accounts for, and the adjuster covers the difference in single steps.
The Folding Blade
Hinged, so it swings clear under impact instead of loading the master cylinder. The engineered break point sits inside the two-finger zone where a controlled failure does the least harm.
Road Approval
Approved for German public roads under ABE No. KBA 91203. Print the downloadable certificate and keep it with the papers; no entry or inspection is needed.
