The first CBR500R of 2013 to 2015 is a half-faired twin with a friendly position, bought by many as an A2 sports bike. Its bar ends take the knocks of garage life, and the Gilles CONE weights give them a solid, anodised finish.

Gilles lists the weights for the CBR500R of this first generation. Red matches the Honda colours, black suits the darker paint. The kit expands inside the bar to hold the weight in place.
Road Approval
Gilles lists these bar end weights as not requiring registration on the Honda CBR500R: no inspection and no entry in the vehicle documents. What they do need is a firm seat in the bar, so check them again after the first ride.

Two CONE weights in your chosen colour plus the Gilles mounting kit; the kit covers handlebars from 12 to 22 mm inside diameter.
Fitting
Fit one side at a time: old weight out, expander in, Gilles weight on, screw tight. Afterwards open and close the throttle a few times; it has to return on its own, and the weight must not move.
