New for 2026, the Z1100 puts Kawasaki's larger four-cylinder into a naked chassis. Without fairing panels, the parts at the back are in plain view whenever the bike is parked, the rear brake reservoir among them. Gilles lists the BRC-05 for it, a milled replacement for the original cap.

With the front cover
The front reservoir takes the BRC-14. Buy both and give them the same ring colour, or use silver at the back and gold at the front; the rings can be swapped at any time.
Road Approval
No registration required, says Gilles: the cover goes on the Kawasaki Z1100 without an inspection and without a change to the vehicle documents.
Scope of Delivery
One Gilles BRC-05 rear reservoir cover in black with 4 coloured rings (silver, gold, red, blue). You fit the ring you like; the others stay in the box for a later change of colour, and the original cover can be kept.
Fitting
Opening the reservoir exposes the brake fluid to air and moisture, so the job should be done cleanly and without delay. Protect the paint, level the reservoir, exchange the cover as described in the instructions and check the fluid level. If you have never worked on a brake system, let a workshop do it.
