DescriptionThe whole story▼
The left-hand panel that carries the line of the seat unit rearward on the road tail. Small, cheap by the standards of this catalogue, and more significant on a 959 than on the bikes it is shared with.
Key Features
- Left tail extension for the road seat unit
- Autoclave-cured 200 Plain weave
- Single finish rather than the usual four
- Right side available as MD-9915-C58-1
- Also listed for the 1299 and the Panigale R
Not Much Carbon Exists for This Bike
Fullsix makes ten parts for the 959, and four of them are brackets and lids hidden behind the fairing. Of what is actually visible, these two extensions are the least expensive by a wide margin.
That gives them a role they do not have on a 1299, where an owner can spend on flanks and a belly pan instead. Here they are often the first and sometimes the only carbon on the bike, which is worth knowing when deciding whether one side alone will do.
Fitment and Compatibility
Ducati 959 Panigale, model years 2016 to 2019, with the road specification seat unit. Not for the racing monocoque tail.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this part.
Fitting
Seat off, panel located on its tabs first, fasteners started by hand. The tabs set the position and the fasteners only hold it.
