The tail is the half of the motorcycle a following rider sees, and on the 2025 platform it is a single sculpted unit rather than a collection of panels. Ducati shares it between the Panigale V4 and the Streetfighter V4, which tells you how central it is to the design of both: it is the piece that carries the whole rear silhouette.

One Piece Instead of Several
A tail unit made as a single moulding has no joints to misalign, which removes the most common complaint about aftermarket bodywork. What replaces it is a harder manufacturing problem: a large part has to come out of the autoclave dimensionally correct in every direction at once, because there is no adjacent panel to hide a discrepancy against.
The advantage for the owner is that fitting is a single operation with a single alignment. Either it sits on the subframe correctly or it does not, and there is nothing to adjust afterwards.
Fitment and Compatibility
Ducati Streetfighter V4 2025-2026, Panigale V4 and V4 S 2025-2026, and Panigale V4 R 2026, all of which share this tail section. It does not fit the 2020-2024 Streetfighter V4.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this part. A tail unit carries the rear light and plate mounting, so confirm the position for your own registration before road use with particular care here.
Finish on the Largest Panel
Scale amplifies whatever the finish does. Clear coat on a tail this size turns the rear of the motorcycle into a reflective surface that changes with every angle, which is the most dramatic option available and the one that shows fingerprints from the pillion seat.
Matt keeps the sculpted shape readable by removing reflections that compete with it, and on a complex form that is a real argument rather than a preference. Satin is the balanced choice. Raw shows the weave at its most textured, which on the biggest panel Fullsix makes for this motorcycle is a statement in itself.
