The rear mudguard carries the number plate and the rear light on a Monster, which makes it one of the few carbon parts on the bike that has a legal job as well as a cosmetic one.

Read the Registration Document First
Changing the part that holds the plate and the rear light is not the same as changing a cover. In several markets the position and angle of the plate and the light are specified, and an inspector will look at them.
This part keeps the original geometry, so a like-for-like swap normally changes nothing. If the bike already has a tail tidy or a repositioned light, check how the two work together before you order.
Fitment and Compatibility
Ducati Monster 1200, model years 2014 to 2016, on the original mounts. For 2017 and later Fullsix lists a different rear mudguard under its own number — tell us the model year and we will confirm which one fits.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this part. Because it carries the plate and the rear light, treat the approval question as open until you have checked it for your own registration.
What It Is Actually Protecting
Behind the rear mudguard sit the shock, the wiring to the tail and, on this bike, the exposed rear of the trellis frame. Water thrown forward off the tyre finds all three.
None of that fails quickly. It fails over four or five winters, and by then the cause is invisible. A mudguard in the original shape is the cheapest way to keep that clock from starting.
