DescriptionThe whole story▼
The XDiavel headlight surround is a small panel with an outsized effect. It is the frame around the full-LED unit that gives the motorcycle its face, and because the XDiavel has no fairing to speak of, it is one of very few body panels visible from directly in front.
Key Features
- Replaces the surround around the XDiavel LED headlight unit
- Six configurations across 200 Plain and 245 Twill, including satin and raw
- Moulded from the original part, so the aperture and the panel gaps stay as Ducati set them
- Fits on the standard mounting points with the original fasteners
- One of the few panels on this motorcycle seen from head-on, which is why it is a common early purchase
The Gap Is the Quality Signal
On a panel that frames a light unit, fit tolerance is everything. The eye reads the gap between carbon and lens as a measure of how well the part was made, and no amount of surface quality compensates for a surround that sits two millimetres proud on one side. That is the real engineering in a part like this: the mould and the trim fixture rather than the laminate, which is the same as on any other cover in the range.
Check the headlight aim after fitting. The unit is located by what surrounds it, and any body panel that comes off and goes back is a reason to confirm the beam has not shifted.
Fitment and Compatibility
Ducati XDiavel and XDiavel S, 2016 to 2024, on the original mounting points. Does not fit the Diavel 1260 or the Diavel V4, which use a different headlight assembly entirely.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval for this part. A panel that surrounds the headlight can be assessed differently from a plain cover in a technical inspection; confirm the requirement for your registration before road use.
Not Interchangeable Across the Diavel Family
The Diavel name covers three quite different motorcycles, and their headlight assemblies have nothing in common. The original Diavel of 2011 to 2018, the Diavel 1260, the XDiavel and the Diavel V4 each carry their own lighting unit with its own surround geometry.
This part is for the XDiavel only, 2016 to 2024. If you are shopping from a photograph rather than from the order code, check the frame number or the registration document first — the panels look broadly similar in pictures and are not remotely interchangeable in practice.
