On a Monster there is nothing in front of the engine. What the front wheel throws up goes straight onto the cylinder heads, the radiator and the frame tubes, and the front mudguard is the only thing standing between them.

The Part Everyone Sees First
A front mudguard sits at eye level when the bike is parked and directly in the rider's view when it is not. It is the piece of bodywork people notice before anything else, which is why it is the most common first carbon part on a Monster.
The weave runs along the curve rather than across it, so the pattern stays straight when the part is viewed from the side. That is a mould question, not a finishing one, and it is the difference between a carbon mudguard and a carbon-look mudguard.
Fitment and Compatibility
Ducati Monster 1200, model years 2014 to 2016, on the original fork mounts. The 2017 facelift changed the front end; for those years Fullsix lists different numbers. Check the model year before ordering.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this part. Mudguards are covered by construction rules in several markets — confirm the position for your own registration before road use.
Why Autoclave Curing Matters Here
A mudguard flexes constantly at speed and takes stone chips head-on. Laminate cured under pressure and heat has very few voids, and voids are where a chip turns into a crack that runs.
It costs more than a vacuum-bagged part and it is worth it on exactly this component, which is loaded every metre the bike moves and replaced only when something breaks it.
