DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Streetfighter V4 is built around a short aluminium front frame bolted to the engine, and Ducati leaves it visible because it is one of the most interesting things on the motorcycle. The frame covers are the small panels that finish its outer faces, and they sit exactly where a rider's leg passes on the way to the peg.
Key Features
- Set of frame covers, left and right, direct replacement for the originals
- Available in 200 Plain and in 245 Twill
- Autoclave-cured laminate following the frame contour on both sides
- Original mounting points and fasteners, frame unmodified
- Raw carbon is the lightest and least expensive configuration
Carbon Against Aluminium
These covers sit directly against a bare aluminium casting, which is the one place on the motorcycle where two very different materials meet with nothing between them. The contrast is the point: machined metal next to woven composite is a combination that reads as purposeful rather than decorative.
It also sets a constraint. A gloss cover next to a satin-finished frame reflects differently from every angle and can look like an add-on. Matt or satin sit more naturally against aluminium, and most owners arrive at that conclusion after seeing the parts fitted.
Fitment and Compatibility
Ducati Streetfighter V4, model years 2020 to 2024, on the original frame cover mountings. The 2025 machine uses a revised frame and does not take these covers.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this part. It is a cover and does not alter the frame, but confirm the position for your own registration before road use.
A Boot Passes Here Every Time
Whatever finish is chosen, this is a contact surface. A boot brushes it on every mount and dismount, and over a season that leaves a mark on lacquer and almost nothing on bare weave.
Raw is the most durable choice and the cheapest. Matt is nearly as forgiving and looks more finished against the frame. Twill in matt is the combination that holds up best while still showing clearly what the part is made of, and it is worth the small premium on a panel this exposed.
