A Part That Holds Something Up
Most carbon on a motorcycle carries nothing but itself. This one supports hardware, and that changes what a good fit means: the module positions have to be right, the rubber isolation has to go back, and the fasteners have to reach their intended torque rather than being nipped up by feel.
On a bike built for very long days, vibration is the load case that matters. A module mounted hard against a rigid bracket, with the isolator left in the parts tray, is the one that develops an intermittent fault three thousand kilometres later.

Photograph the loom before anything comes off. Every module goes back in its own position, with its own isolator, and every connector gets pushed home until it clicks rather than until it looks seated.
