DescriptionThe whole story▼
Engineered exclusively for service and maintenance use, the Fullsix Carbon Airbox Service Cover gives technicians and race mechanics rapid, unobstructed access to the airbox on the Ducati Panigale V2 955 (2020-2024). This is a motorsport-grade component manufactured from genuine carbon fibre — a direct OEM replacement that installs without drilling or modification. Important: this cover is intended solely for service purposes and is not suitable for regular road or track riding.
Key Features
- Genuine carbon fibre construction available in 200 Plain or 245 Twill weave — ultralight, rigid and highly resistant to mechanical stress
- Plug-and-play fitment replaces the OEM airbox cover 1:1 with no cutting, drilling or adaptation required
- Designed specifically for fast airbox access during maintenance, setup changes and service intervals
- UV-resistant and weather-resistant finish ensures long-term durability in demanding environments
- Choice of Glossy, Matte or Raw finish to suit workshop and paddock preferences
- MotoGP-inspired carbon technology applied directly to a production motorcycle application
Design and Construction
Fullsix produces this airbox service cover using the same carbon fibre technology that underpins their motorsport programme. The 200 Plain weave replicates the look of standard Ducati carbon components, while the 245 Twill weave offers a more pronounced diagonal pattern favoured in performance paddock environments. Both weave options are available in a high-gloss lacquered finish or a satin matte clear coat. The Raw finish is offered in the 200 Plain specification for those who prefer to apply their own treatment or use the panel in a purely functional capacity.
The resin system used throughout is formulated to resist UV degradation and temperature cycling, keeping the panel dimensionally stable even when exposed to engine heat during repeated service sessions. Every panel is trimmed and checked for fit against the Panigale V2 955 mounting points before leaving the Fullsix facility.
Service and Maintenance Application
This cover was developed in direct response to the demands of race teams and dedicated trackday mechanics who need rapid airbox access without removing the full fairing assembly. By substituting the standard panel for this lightweight carbon unit during a service session, the procedure becomes faster and less prone to fastener wear. Once servicing is complete, the OEM cover is refitted for riding. The Fullsix panel stores safely between uses and retains its shape over many cycles of removal and reinstallation.
Fitment and Compatibility
This airbox service cover is designed and verified to fit the following motorcycle:
- Ducati Panigale V2 955 — model years 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024
No modifications to the motorcycle are required. The cover uses the existing OEM mounting points and hardware.
