Hand-painted to order with the American national flag motif and constructed entirely from monolithic twill-weave carbon fibre, this is a guard that carries real racing heritage — and looks every bit the part.

Heritage and Finish

Extreme Components have been supplying components to World Superbike and World Championship teams for more than ten years. The GP EVO is the distillation of everything learned in that environment: a guard that is lighter, stiffer and aerodynamically cleaner than anything produced before it. The "USA" edition takes that foundation and adds a layer of artisan finishing — each piece is hand-painted to order, making it a limited-production collectible as well as a functional race component. The twill-weave carbon is left with its natural texture, giving the flag artwork a distinctive depth that gloss-painted metal guards simply cannot replicate.

Engineering Detail

The GP EVO does away with the conventional aluminium end cap entirely. The result is a fully monolithic carbon structure that saves weight and eliminates a potential failure point. At just 35 g it is, according to Extreme Components, the lightest brake lever guard currently available. The outer surface features a partially flattened profile engineered for maximum impact resistance, while the inner face is kept completely smooth and free of edges so that a rider's hand can exit without snagging during a get-off. The redesigned front spoiler has been refined in the wind tunnel to clean up airflow around the throttle grip at maximum speed, reducing the aerodynamic penalty that conventional guards impose at high velocity.
