Build Quality and Safety Testing
BST does not treat safety testing as a formality. Every STAR TEK wheel undergoes 1,000,000 bending and torsion fatigue cycles, a 6,000 km radial load endurance test, a radial impact test with residual air pressure retention, and a 100% CT scan before it leaves the factory. The static load rating stands at 280 kg (617.2 lbs), radial impact load at 420 kg (925.9 lbs, JASO T203-85), bending fatigue load at 452 Nm and torsion fatigue load at 923 Nm. Each wheel is individually numbered, so traceability is built in from day one.

This rear wheel is designed specifically for the Ducati Panigale 1199, 1199S and 1199R produced between 2012 and 2017.
