Build Quality and Materials

BST's Rapid Tek construction method uses aerospace-grade pre-preg carbon fibre — fabric pre-impregnated with a precisely controlled resin matrix — cured under heat and pressure to achieve a consistently dense, void-free structure. The result is a rim that is simultaneously stiffer and lighter than cast aluminium equivalents, without compromising on impact resistance. The hubs are machined from 6082 T6 aluminium billet, an alloy chosen for its high tensile strength, excellent corrosion resistance and suitability for tight dimensional tolerances. Every interface between hub and rim is engineered to exacting tolerances, ensuring the assembly remains true even under the high lateral and torsional loads generated by aggressive track riding.

Reducing unsprung mass at both ends of the motorcycle transforms the way the RSV4 responds to surface imperfections and rider inputs.
