Each rim is constructed from aerospace-grade pre-preg carbon fibre — material pre-impregnated with resin and cured under controlled heat and pressure for a void-free, consistently strong laminate. The result is a rim that is simultaneously lighter and more rigid than a comparable cast or forged aluminium item.
The 6082 T6 aluminium hub is not bonded but mechanically integrated into the carbon rim structure, a method that distributes braking and acceleration torques across the joint far more effectively than adhesive alone. Cornering load capacity on the front wheel is rated at 577 Nm and torsional load at 543.9 Nm, while the rear wheel handles 760 Nm cornering and 1,030 Nm torsional load — figures that speak directly to the wheel's suitability for hard track use.
Available with a choice of steel or ceramic bearings, the Mamba 7 TEK can be configured for weekend road riding or full-circuit racing depending on your requirements.
