Reducing rotational inertia at the rear of a superbike reshapes how it responds to throttle inputs and changes of direction. The GP TEK rim achieves this through a precise layup of pre-preg carbon fibre — a construction method that allows BST's engineers to place material exactly where loads demand it and nowhere else. The result is a wheel that feels alive under power, settles quickly under braking and holds its line through fast, high-load corners where the ZX-10 R's chassis is working hardest.

The 6082 T6 aluminium hub anchors the carbon rim with the rigidity needed to keep geometry consistent across a full race distance. Combined with the Titanium Grade 5 hardware, the entire assembly is built to withstand repeated, sustained competition loads — radial load 283 kg, static load 551 lbs / 250 kg, lateral load 720 Nm, torsional load 1,043 Nm.

Build Quality and Finish Options

The GP TEK is offered in a wide range of finishes to suit personal preference and team livery requirements. Choose from High Gloss, Satin-Matte, Forged Carbon finish, or one of the solid colours — Blue, Red, Green, Gold, Silver, Orange and Black Ink. Bearing configuration is selectable between standard steel bearings and ceramic bearings for those seeking the absolute optimum in rotating efficiency and longevity under sustained high-speed use.
