Construction and Materials
BST manufactures the Diamond Tek using pre-preg carbon fibre — resin-impregnated cloth laid up under strictly controlled conditions before autoclave curing. This process eliminates the voids and inconsistencies that can compromise hand-laid carbon, resulting in a wheel that is both lighter and structurally superior to conventional cast aluminium alternatives. The hub flanges are machined from 6082 T6 aluminium alloy, chosen for its combination of high tensile strength and corrosion resistance. The result is a wheel that does not simply look extraordinary — it performs at a measurably higher level through every corner.
Performance on Road and Track
Reducing unsprung and rotating mass at the front axle has a disproportionate effect on how a sportsbike handles.
