The Albek Meridian in Covert Black is a 165-litre wheeled gear bag for motocross and enduro riders who want boots, helmet, goggles and several sets of riding kit in one place. All-black fabric keeps it understated in the van and forgiving on a muddy track day.
What sets it apart is the layout: four separate zones mean dirty boots never share space with a clean jersey, and the goggles have their own protected vault.

Four zones in a black shell
Down low sits the boot and knee-brace compartment. Its liner is waterproof and can be pulled out, so a pair of caked boots goes home without soaking the rest of the Covert Black bag. The helmet travels in a padded section that also takes protectors, while the goggle vault holds your goggles plus a separate pocket for spare lenses and roll-offs. Everything else goes into the big main compartment, which Albek sizes for more than one full kit.
Rolling it from van to pits
A telescopic handle and robust wheels let you pull the full load across a paddock instead of shouldering it. For lifting into a vehicle there is the padded Albek Cush handle. The base is moulded and kept light; empty, the Meridian weighs 5.22 kg, which Albek describes as about 30 % lighter than competing bags.
Fabric and construction
The outer combines matt 600D polyester with 1680D ballistic nylon, a heavier weave used where a gear bag takes the most abrasion. Matt black hides scuffs from ramps and trailer floors better than a glossy finish would.
Small items and fresh air
Elastic glove pockets take several pairs, a dedicated tool pocket keeps spanners away from fabric, and a separate section holds a chest protector and base layers. Vented compartments, which Albek calls Anti Bag-Tang, let damp kit breathe between sessions. An embroidery zone is present for names or logos.
What you should know
Only the boot liner and the change mat are described as waterproof; the Meridian as a whole is not. It is a transport bag for vehicle, paddock and travel and is not designed to be carried on the motorcycle while riding. With 5.22 kg of its own weight, a fully packed bag gets heavy, so check baggage limits before flying.
Colour
Covert Black is the most discreet option in the range. Dried mud, tyre marks and dust show far less on black than on lighter colours, which makes it a sensible choice if the bag lives in a van or trailer. The trade-off: in a row of dark bags at the airport carousel it is harder to spot, so a luggage tag helps.
