Wine red set against grey, the Burgundy Meridian is Albek's 165-litre roller for riders who pack more than one set of gear, whether for a two-day enduro, a practice-and-race weekend or a week of riding abroad.
Albek built the main compartment to hold multiple kits and surrounded it with dedicated spaces for boots, helmet and goggles.

Room for several kits
The heart of the Burgundy Meridian is a large main compartment that swallows more than one complete outfit. Jerseys and pants for each day can be stacked inside, while a separate section takes chest protector and base layers so they stay flat. Elastic pockets keep several pairs of gloves sorted.
The specialised zones
Boots and knee braces sit in a compartment of their own with a waterproof liner you can pull out and clean. The helmet and protectors travel in padded surroundings. In the integrated goggle vault your goggles stay protected, with an extra pocket for lenses and roll-offs beside them. A tool pocket covers the basics you want to carry with your kit.
Travel and handling
For airports, hotel car parks and long walks through a paddock the Meridian rolls on robust wheels, guided by a telescopic handle. A light moulded base supports the load. The padded Albek Cush handle is there for lifting. Weight is 5.22 kg, which Albek presents as around 30 % less than comparable competitors.
Material and ventilation
Matt 600D polyester is combined with 1680D ballistic nylon. Vented compartments, which Albek labels Anti Bag-Tang, help limit damp smells when kit stays packed overnight. The 100 % waterproof change mat folds away when not in use. There is also an embroidery zone.
What you should know
Expect the outer fabric to let water through in a downpour: only the boot liner and the change mat are waterproof. The bag is not intended for carrying on the motorcycle while riding. As checked luggage it is large and weighs 5.22 kg before packing, so airline limits deserve a look before a trip abroad. Albek's limited lifetime warranty covers manufacturing faults in fabric and workmanship for the original buyer who still has the receipt.
Colour
Burgundy combines a deep wine red with grey panels. It looks more refined than racing colours and is still easy to recognise next to black bags. Red hides small marks reasonably well, but sun-bleached dust and dried light mud are more visible than on Covert Black, so an occasional wipe keeps it looking sharp.
