DescriptionThe whole story▼
A threaded boss for the lambda sensor. That is the detail that makes this header worth its price to anyone who intends to tune a CRF300L — the sensor has somewhere to live, so the engine electronics can still read what is happening.
Key Features
- Thread for the lambda sensor, for owners tuning the engine electronics
- No catalytic converter
- 1.5 PS more at 7,650 rpm and 1.4 Nm at 5,900 rpm
- 0.6 kg against the standard 0.85 kg
- Plug-and-play installation, no remapping required
- High-grade stainless steel
- No road approval — racetrack and closed course use only
The Cheapest Part in This Range
At this price it is the least expensive Akrapovic component in our Honda catalogue, and it does real work: 1.5 PS on a 24.9 PS engine is a six per cent gain. Proportionally, nothing in the four-figure part of this range comes close.
No Remap Needed
Akrapovic states the installation is plug and play and that no remapping is required. Combined with the lambda thread, that means two things at once: the bike runs correctly straight away, and it remains tunable later if you want more.
Most headers force the choice. This one does not.
Built for the Titanium Slip-On
The header is designed to increase the tuning potential of the Akrapovic Slip-On Line (Titanium) for this machine — S-H3SO11-BNTA. Fitted together, the two form a complete exhaust from the cylinder head back, and the sound is deeper and sportier than the slip-on alone gives.
A Quarter of a Kilogram
The header itself weighs 0.6 kg against 0.85 kg standard. In absolute terms that is nothing, and this page is not going to claim otherwise — the weight is a side effect. The reason to buy it is the tuning headroom and the six per cent power gain.
What Removing the Catalytic Converter Means
The standard CRF300L header contains a catalytic converter. This one does not, which is where the power comes from and also why there is no road approval. There is no version that does one without the other.
Forty Minutes
The CRF300L's single cylinder puts its exhaust port in the open, and there is no fairing in the way. Forty minutes covers the header on a bike on a stand, with no special tools needed.
The Cheapest Route to a Full System
If the Slip-On Line is already fitted, this header turns it into a complete exhaust for a fraction of what a Racing Line costs. That combination is the least expensive full system for any motorcycle in this catalogue.
Fitment and Compatibility
E-H3SO1 covers the Honda CRF300L from model year 2021 through 2026. Installation is quoted at 40 minutes.
Road Approval
None. This product does not meet emission compliance requirements for street or highway use.
