DescriptionThe whole story▼
When the QJMotor SRK 900 RR goes to the circuit, the rear brake becomes a tool for settling the chassis on corner entry rather than for stopping. For that job Accossato offers rear pad AGPA42 in ZXC ceramic racing, its ceramic compound for competition, listed for the 2024 SRK 900 RR. It is aimed at the rider who spends weekends in the paddock, adjusts the bike between sessions and wants a rear brake that stays constant from the first lap of practice to the end of the race.
Key Features
- Rear pad AGPA42 for QJMotor SRK 900 RR (2024)
- ZXC ceramic racing mixture, part AGPA42ZXC
- Accossato calls it a ceramic compound ideal for racing
- Made for repeated, hard use over a race weekend
- Helps keep rear brake feel constant as heat builds
- Alternatives on this plate: OR and ST
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato presents the ZXC ceramic racing compound as its ceramic recipe for racing use. On a sports bike on track, the rear pad is used lightly but often, and it heats up in a very different rhythm from the front. A racing compound is designed for that pattern of use, while retaining Accossato's usual goals of slow wear, resistance to fade, and a strong effect when pressure is applied.
Using the Rear Brake on Track
Many riders touch the rear brake of the SRK 900 RR just before turning in to calm the rear and tighten the line. Others use it to hold the bike steady when opening the throttle out of slow hairpins. Either way, the pedal must feel the same in the tenth lap as in the first.
Between sessions, check the pad thickness through the caliper window, look at the colour of the disc and keep an eye on the rear fluid level. Setting the pedal height and free play at the start of the weekend saves time later in the pit box.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA42 for the rear of the QJMotor SRK 900 RR from 2024 only. No other Accossato pad or disc is currently listed for this bike. Bed in new pads with a series of moderate stops before pushing hard, and keep the disc free from chain lube and cleaning sprays.
Road Approval
We have no ABE or German test documents for AGPA42ZXC. It is intended for racing and circuit use only.
Scope of Delivery
Two ZXC ceramic racing rear pads, enough for one caliper.
