Accossato's AGPA42 rear pad in ZXC ceramic racing is listed for the Norton V4 RR 1200 from 2018 to 2019. It is designed for circuit use, where the rear brake must respond precisely and stay stable as the temperatures rise through a session.

Construction and Material Quality
This is the ceramic member of Accossato's range, and the Italian firm positions it squarely for racing. Its job on the back of a V4 superbike is narrow but important: a light, repeatable bite that does not wander as heat soaks into a small rear disc during a hot session. The maker also points to long life and reduced fade.
Corner Entry on a V4
When a V4 superbike slows from high speed, the engine braking and the slipper clutch influence how the rear wheel behaves. A light touch of rear brake can help keep the rear settled and in line as the rider turns in. The ZXC ceramic racing pad gives a precise response to such small inputs and keeps it as the disc heats up. Every rider uses the rear brake differently, so discuss the technique with the rider and the team and adjust the set-up together. After each session, check the rear pad for even wear and make sure the caliper releases fully. A dragging rear brake adds heat and can upset the bike.
Team Notes
Record rear pad wear for each session to plan pad changes over the weekend, and keep a spare set in the pit. Because the rear pad works in small doses, it can last several meetings, so check it rather than replacing it by habit.
Fitment and Compatibility
On the V4 RR 1200 built in 2018 and 2019, the back wheel takes AGPA42 in Accossato's catalogue, and the AGPA106 plate goes up front in any of its racing or road mixtures. Owners who also ride their superbike on public roads can order the rear plate as Sintered (ST) and keep the ceramic set for race meetings. A single box contains what the rear caliper needs.
Road Approval
AGPA42ZXC does not have a German ABE, and there is no test report on file. It is sold for circuit racing.
