Corner exit on a Panigale V4 is an event. There is more drive available than the tarmac wants, the front wheel goes light before the rider has finished thinking about it, and a great deal of what keeps the whole thing tidy is handled by a small disc at the back of the bike. Accossato presses the AGPA42 rear pad in the ZXC ceramic racing material, article AGPA42ZXC, listing it for the Panigale V4 from 2018 to 2026 and calling the compound a ceramic one made for racing.

Construction and Material Quality
The description Accossato gives this compound is short enough to quote in a sentence: ceramic, for racing. The carrier is the usual AGPA42, so nothing about the way the pads sit in the rear caliper of a Panigale V4 depends on which suffix was ordered, and a team trying two materials across a weekend is genuinely comparing friction layers and not fitments. High performance under braking is what Accossato claims for its pads as a family, and on the rear of a fast circuit bike that is felt as a pedal which does not change its mind as the session goes on.
Holding the Nose Down on Exit
Watch a quick rider leave a second-gear corner on a big V4 and the right boot is busier than the throttle hand. A light, continuous pressure on the pedal as the bike picks up keeps the front from climbing, lets more of the engine be used earlier and does it without interrupting the drive. The electronics have their own opinion about all of this, but the rider is still steering the balance of the machine with the rear brake, and the amount of pedal that produced the right result at the start of a session needs to produce it at the end.
That kind of use puts more heat into the rear of a Panigale V4 than the same pads would ever see on a road bike, and the disc back there has very little air moving over it. Take the chance to look at the pads whenever the rear wheel comes off, watch for any lubricant thrown off the chain landing on the disc, and treat a pedal that has crept downwards as information worth acting on. Pump it firm after any work and before going out again.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato catalogues the AGPA42 at the rear of the Panigale V4 from 2018 to 2026, the SP, SP2 and special edition included in that run. One box is one caliper, which is the whole rear brake. For the front wheel the same bike takes the AGPA106 across the same years, and the DKS036 appears in the disc part of the range. The R and the V2 are covered by their own listings.
